Haydn’s Creation with the Geelong Chorale

Looking forward to using my orchestral clarinet chops with the Geelong Chorale’s performance of The Creation by Haydn. Considered to be his great masterpiece, this oratorio was inspired by Handel’s Messiah and evokes an essentially optimistic view of humanity. It features bass, tenor and soprano soloists as well as the homegrown Geelong Chorale with some lovely examples of Haydn’s love of instrumental tone-painting.
